Entertainment & Culture: Just minutes away
Start your weekend in Boone at the First Friday Art Crawl, located just a short walk away along King Street. Our great Lovill Inn Staff will gladly guide to arrange transportation if you wish. We are located in the heart of downtown Boone, yet you will enjoy escaping to our peaceful 11 acre wooded land.
Mingle, meet local artists, and shop along King Street from 6pm to 8:30pm at local establishments and galleries. Lively street performers and painting are sure to entertain. If you enjoy First Friday, come back each month (except January)!

August Features Great Music, Too
The end of August marks the Happy Valley Fiddlers Convention, if you appreciate string music over the visual arts. Even better, you can reserve the Lovill House Inn for a Labor Day weekend bed and breakfast Boone experience.
The banks of the Yadkin River is the perfect backdrop for a day of dancing, food, and fun company. The festival begins Friday at 7:00pm featuring Pam and Brett Riggs, The Sunny Mountain Serenaders, and Jason Cade.
Saturday features a music competition that begins at 10:00am, of which there are 12 separate categories. Prepare to be amazed by the talented children in the youth tent.
The weekend end with folk, blues, gospel, old-time, Cajun, and bluegrass musicians. Google the Happy Valley Fiddlers for ticket and pass information!
