The Blowing Rock Art & History Museum (BRAHM as it is commonly seen) is a non-profit organization located at 159 Chestnut Street, at the corner of Chestnut and Main Street in the downtown area of the Village of Blowing Rock. The museum first opened its doors to the public in 2011 and since then has offered gallery spaces, meeting rooms and an education center for the arts. With permanent and changing exhibitions, the museum always has something fun to see and do. Works in the collection range from prominent American Impressionists, such as Elliott Daingerfield and William Charles Anthony Frerichs, to works by more locally based artists, including Philip Moose and Herb Cohen. Selections from the Collection are revisited annually and select works are rotated each Fall.

BRAHM, Blowing Rock Art and History Museum is a wonderful cultural addition to the High Country’s things to do and attractions landscape. If you love art and learning about popular artists that have ties to our region, stop by and check out the museum.

Lovill House Inn is a historic bed and breakfast Boone NC that offers something different from the other hotels Boone NC. Located in the heart of Boone, Lovill House is much like the charming Blowing Rock bed and breakfasts in that it offers stately rooms and bed and breakfast guest services, but in the location of Boone rather than the village of Blowing Rock. We are located just about 15 minutes from the museum, and encourage you to enjoy the shops, and restaurants in Blowing Rock nearby.
