boone christmas tree farmsGet your tree from the same suppliers that supply many of the Christmas trees and decorations for such locations as The White House in Washington D.C. and the Vice President’s home.┬áLovill House Inn invites you to come up during the days and weeks in December to find the perfect Christmas tree. As many know, the High Country is THE best spot to find a real, Christmas tree and there are several NC Choose and Cut Christmas Tree Farms in and around our location in Boone, North Carolina where you can search and find the perfect tree. Instead of over paying at a retail tree lot off the mountain, you can get a great deal on real greenery by visiting a local farm while you are in town. They all offer wreaths, garland and mailbox covers as well.

Each farm is unique in what it offers to customers, some even feature Christmas shops complete with ornaments and other items for sale. Many include fun children’s features as well such as gigantic Frosty and Santa yard decorations and ornaments, Santa on hand giving out treats, hot chocolate and free hayrides.┬áMost all farms will cut the tree for you, after you’ve chosen the one that you want, for a fee, and most all will allow you to cut your own tree if you wish. If you wish to cut your own tree, you should probably carry along a good saw, however, most all of the farms will have electric and manual saws on hand for you to use. Each farm will bale the tree for you and help you arrange it on top of your car for the ride back home.
