The Lovill House Inn, a Boone NC bed and breakfast, is proud to be located in one of the most beautiful and artistic communities in North Carolina. The town is made of small businesses and a family atmosphere, and we couldn’t be prouder of the achievements of local business owners. April is NC Beer Month, and there are several local breweries around town that our guests rave to us about. While you’re in town this April, be sure to stop by a brewery and try some awesome North Carolina Craft Beer.
In Boone, you can visit Lost Province Brewing Co, Appalachian Mountain Brewery, and Booneshine Brewing Co. Each has its distinct vibe and atmosphere. Lost Province Brewing Co. features brick oven pizza and a variety of week day activities, such as trivia or live music. Appalachian Brewery hosts one of the High Country’s best food trucks, Farm-to-Flame Pizza, and sets up lawn games on warm days. Booneshine Brewing’s tasting room is located inside Basil’s Restaurant and has a great selection of home made pastas and sandwiches, plus awesome specials throughout the week.
Eight miles up the road is Blowing Rock Brewing Company, in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The brewery is a little further away from our Boone NC bed and breakfast, but it’s well worth the drive. With a variety of great beers on tap and an artisan food menu with creative appetizers, salads, and sandwiches, stop by on a Saturday for great food, great brews, and live music by the brewery out back.
On your way back from your adventures, stop by one of the bottle shops in town to pick up a six pack of North Carolina craft beer to bring back to the Inn with you. Peabody’s Beer & Wine, Benchmark Provisions, and Blowing Rock Market all have an amazing selection of North Carolina craft beer for you to choose from.
Time to show North Carolina brews a little love. When you venture out, be sure to keep track of your favorite so you can tell us when you get back to the Lovill House Inn. We love hearing about our guests adventures, and we hope to see you soon!
