At Lovill House Inn we seek to provide privacy and luxury for your North Carolina High Country getaway. Located on the western edge of Boone, near Blowing Rock and Banner Elk, we offer guests a choice of lodging options including four rooms in the main inn, as well as a secluded cottage, all historic while offering modern B&B accommodations. We’re easy to work with, but we do have a few simple rules!
Room rates are based on double occupancy. There is a $30 charge per night per person for additional guests.
We offer a smoke-free environment. Smokers are welcome to do so outside in designated areas.
Check-In: Anytime between 3 to 6 PM. After 6 PM is gladly accommodated with advance notice.
Check-Out: by 11 AM. Cars can be left in the parking lot after check-out to tour Boone by arrangement with the innkeepers.
We offer a seated breakfast in our dining room at 8:30 AM daily, serving full hot breakfast with choices.
The inn is suitable for children 12 and over when accompanied by a mature adult.
We are not able to accept pets (other than service dogs), but can recommend a nearby facility minutes from us where your dog can stay.
Cancellation policy: If you cancel more than 14 days before your reservation, it is a straight $25.00 bookkeeping charge. If circumstances cause you to cancel within 14 days of your arrival date, we charge you 1/2 of the rate of your total reservation and issue you a gift certificate for that same amount good for 6 months. We reserve the right to charge you the full amount if you cancel on the date of arrival, if there is no time to rebook the room, or if you are a no-show.
Customer Pricing Notice: A customer service charge of 3.99% is applied to all inn sales. We greatly prefer final payment by cash or check. As an incentive for guests to do so, we now provide an immediate discount of 3.99% to those who pay with cash or check. This applies to purchases of gift certificates. We now accept VISA/MasterCard and Discover credit cards. Our motto is pay by cash or check and save! A credit card is asked for when making a reservation simply to guarantee the room.
