They say if you don't like the weather in Boone, wait a few minutes and it will change. It's late winter in the High Country - warming up this week, but more cold is on the way!

We’re still smiling over the photos & videos of guests flying down the hill behind the historic barn last week. The sleds are on standby for the snow’s return in a few weeks.

Late Winter Hikes or Runs

We have created several trails of varying difficulty on the 11 acres behind the Inn. You can take the moderate trail through the forest to the waterfall, a steeper trail half way up the mountain or hike to the top of the property where a rock outcropping is located.

The Sunny Porch: With this week's warm snap, our sunny porch is the place to be.

Grab a drink and enjoy the 3-acre view before the mountain chill returns.

Don't Miss the Banff Film Festival

We still have several suites available for the Banff Mountain Film Festival week, March 18-21.

Fuel up with a gourmet breakfast before traveling through film to remote vistas, analyzing topical environmental issues, and getting up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports.
