Weddings and Elopements

The Lovill House Inn is the perfect venue for small weddings. We offer 11 acres of gardens and forest with several areas that are perfect for larger outdoor or more intimate indoor weddings . Bring your closest friends and family to stay in our six luxury guest suites in the historic, recently renovated main house and the separate 2 bedroom Lovill Cabin. The Historic Lovill House Venue

The oldest standing home in Boone built in 1875.
The main house offers an elegant living room with fireplace that and is connected to the dining room with indoor seating for up to 25 guests. The kitchen and guest bathroom are in close proximity.
The grounds immediately surrounding the Lovill House include a beautiful wrap around porch perfect for cocktails and outdoor our d'oeuvres. The bay doors of the dining room open to a flagstone patio, firepit and outdoor seating that is bordered by our mountain stream and manicured gardens.
All within walking distance of downtown Boone

The Historic Barn Venue

The historic barn that has been restored for a rustic yet classic covered space that can be heated. Our weather does not require much cooling but 2 large ceiling fans provide air flow as needed in the summer.
Up to 50 guests can enjoy events inside secons story the barn
A rustic bar in the barn, windows, double glass doors with a view of the waterfall and seating provide a one of a kind experience.
The brick drive around the barn allows easy access to the barn venue and the back of the property.
The grounds immediately surrounding the barn provide an area for food trucks or a dance floor, the lawn between the barn and the Waterfall provide space for outdoor seating, the firepit and access to the mountain stream, waterfall and trails.

The Waterfall, Immaculate Grounds and Hiking Trails

The Lovill waterfall behind the barn make a perfect backdrop for amazing photographs.
There is flat area in front of the waterfall and beside the barn for outdoor games, a ceremony, or entertainment.
A bricked patio area connected to the drive offers outdoor space for larger outdoor and tent weddings, food trucks, or other activities weather permitting.
The grounds provide a scenic and secluded location with incredible nature.
On-site Hiking Trails provide a fun activity for guests.

Lovill House Inn chef catering for reception for up to 24 guests staying at the Inn. Cost varies based on menu and plating
Lovill House Inn chef catered specials (ie. charcuterie for guests upon arrival, smores/snacks and hot cocoa/cider by the fire, 10am brunch, pastries and coffee for guests when they leave, desserts, etc). Costs vary based on menu and plating

Elopement Package

Includes:

2 hour private access to predetermined outdoor location or barn for party of up to 10
Use of chairs, tables, linens, and dishes for up to 10 people (in barn or outside only)
Unlimited access for outdoor photos on property. Limited access to predetermined indoor photo areas
Parking for up to 5 cars free of charge
Overnight stay in one of our guest suites for the wedding couple
Breakfast delivered to room for the morning after wedding
Lovill House Inn staff member to help with vendor coordination
Flowers in room for couple, 1 bouquet and 1 boutonniere
